Our Audit Process India
Full transparency on how Aviator Game Review investigates, tests and ranks operators serving Indian players. Every listing passes a six-stage audit before it appears on these India pages. We are an independent publication, all amounts are in Indian Rupees (₹), and play is strictly 18+.
The Six-Stage India Audit
India has no national online casino licence, so we cannot rely on a domestic regulator to vet operators for us. That is exactly why our own methodology has to be rigorous. Each operator is run through the following checks, and weak results in any single stage cap the overall score.
1. Licence Verification
We confirm the operator's offshore licence — usually Curacao — by checking the licence number against the issuing register. We state plainly that there is no India-issued licence and that no Indian authority regulates the site. Operators with an unverifiable or expired licence are disqualified. Read our full legality analysis for the regulatory context.
2. UPI & IMPS Payout Testing
Our team funds and withdraws real ₹ through UPI (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm) and IMPS, timing each withdrawal end to end. We verify near-instant deposits and confirm that withdrawals clear within the operator's stated window. Methods and rails are detailed on our payments page and banking guide.
3. PAN & Aadhaar KYC Efficiency
We submit a genuine PAN and Aadhaar and measure how quickly identity verification completes and how clearly the requirements are communicated. Operators that approve KYC promptly score well; those that delay verification to stall a payout, or demand documents not disclosed up front, are penalised.
4. Bonus & Wagering Transparency
We read every welcome offer's terms in full — wagering multiples, maximum bet while a bonus is active, game weighting and expiry. Clear, fair, achievable terms score highly. Hidden wagering, misleading ₹ headline figures or predatory conditions pull the score down. See how offers compare on our bonuses page.
5. Provably-Fair & RNG Integrity
For Aviator and other crash titles we check that the game uses a provably-fair system or certified RNG, that round outcomes can be independently verified, and that the published RTP matches the provider's specification. Operators that cannot demonstrate verifiable round fairness cannot earn a top rating.
6. Complaints & Withdrawal Reliability
We track how the operator handles disputes, how responsive support is in practice, and whether repeat withdrawals stay reliable over time — not just on the first test. A single fast payout is not enough; a high score requires consistent, dispute-free withdrawals across multiple cycles. Browse vetted operators on our casinos list.
Scoring Criteria & Weighting
Each operator is scored out of 10 against fixed, weighted criteria. Payout reliability and licence verification carry the most weight, followed by KYC efficiency and RNG integrity, then bonus transparency and complaint handling. A failure in a core stage — an unverifiable licence or an unreliable payout — caps the maximum score regardless of how the operator performs elsewhere. The weighting is the same for every operator, so scores stay comparable across the India pages.
India Legal Context & 18+
India's online gaming law is a state-by-state grey area, and the operators we review are licensed offshore rather than inside India. Listing an operator is not a legal endorsement, and it does not mean play is lawful where you live. You must be 18 or over, you should only play if it is legal in your own state, and you should understand that no Indian regulator is protecting you. Bear the tax in mind too: 28% GST on deposits and 30% TDS on winnings under Section 194BA.
Independence Statement
Aviator Game Review is an independent editorial publication. We may earn a commission when a reader clicks a link and registers with a listed operator. That commercial arrangement has no influence on our audit scores or our decision to publish. Scores follow the methodology above and nothing else. If an operator stops paying reliably, fails a re-test or loses its offshore licence, it is removed from every India page immediately. Our editorial independence is non-negotiable.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are operators reviewed on this site licensed inside India?
No. There is no central Indian online casino licence, so every operator we review holds an offshore licence — most commonly from Curacao. We verify and publish that offshore licence number and note clearly that no Indian regulator stands behind it. A listing is never a legal endorsement; whether you can play depends on the law in your own state, and you must be 18 or over.
Do commercial deals change the scores you publish?
No. Aviator Game Review may earn a commission when a reader signs up through a link, but that arrangement has no influence on our audit scores or our decision to publish. Scoring is driven by our fixed weighted criteria — licence verification, payout speed, KYC efficiency, bonus transparency and RNG integrity. If an operator stops paying reliably, it is removed regardless of any commercial relationship.
How do you test UPI and IMPS payout speed?
Our team makes real ₹ deposits and withdrawals through UPI (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm) and IMPS on a fully verified account. We time each withdrawal end to end, from the request to the money landing, and we confirm that 30% TDS under Section 194BA is deducted correctly. Operators that hold cleared funds longer than their stated processing window lose points.
What does your KYC check actually measure?
We submit a genuine PAN and Aadhaar through each operator and record how long verification takes, what documents are demanded, and whether the process is clear. Fast, transparent PAN and Aadhaar checks score well; operators that bury KYC rules or delay approval to slow a withdrawal are penalised.
How Aviator Game Review Audits India-Facing Operators | Methodology
The integrity of Indian iGaming journalism depends on total editorial transparency. Because India has no national online casino licence, our six-stage audit does the work a domestic regulator cannot — verifying offshore licensing, live-testing UPI and IMPS payouts in ₹, measuring PAN and Aadhaar KYC efficiency, checking bonus and wagering terms, and confirming provably-fair RNG integrity.
By publishing our method openly, Aviator Game Review lets Indian players judge not only the operators we rate but the rigour of the rating process itself. Commercial arrangements never affect our scores, listing an operator is not a legal endorsement in India’s grey legal context, and all play is strictly 18+.
