This checklist is intentionally conservative. If one item fails, pause. A missed safety check costs less than a locked account, a fake app install, or a deposit you cannot withdraw. Most damage in Aviator is not from the game — it is from the operator chosen, the app installed, and the limits not set.
Confirm the operator
- Licence number is visible in the footer and matches the regulator's public register.
- Country restrictions do not exclude your location.
- Withdrawal rules, minimums, and processing time are easy to find before deposit.
- A real corporate name and registered address are disclosed.
Reject external tools
- No predictor APKs, signal groups, or "VIP" subscription offers.
- No app that asks for your casino password, SMS code, or screen-sharing access.
- No remote-access (AnyDesk / TeamViewer) "support" session from anyone you did not initiate.
- No browser extensions that claim to improve odds or auto-cashout.
Secure the account
- Use a unique password (not reused from any other service).
- Enable two-factor authentication — prefer authenticator app over SMS.
- Do not reuse payment or wallet credentials in chat or unfamiliar apps.
- Verify the operator's domain spelling matches the licence holder before login.
Set hard limits
- Choose a maximum loss before starting and set the operator's deposit limit accordingly.
- Set a time limit for the session.
- Stop at the limit. Do not chase losses or move money between accounts.
- Know your operator's self-exclusion path before the first session, not after a bad one.
How to verify an operator licence in 60 seconds
- Locate the licence number in the operator's footer.
- Open the regulator's public register directly — not via a link on the operator's page. For the UK that is gamblingcommission.gov.uk/public-register; for Malta, mga.org.mt.
- Search for the licence number or operator company name.
- Check that the licence is active (not expired, suspended, or revoked) and that the listed entity matches the website you are on.
Decision rule
The operator is verified, the app path is legitimate (no APK from outside Play Store / App Store), account security is set up, and your maximum loss is decided in advance. If any of these are unclear, do not deposit yet.
Do not use Aviator as a recovery method after another gambling loss. The mathematical expectation does not change because you need to win this time — but the emotional pressure increases the chance of chasing, which is where most heavy losses happen.
What hides in withdrawal terms
The decision to deposit is often easy. The decision the operator hopes you skip is reading the withdrawal terms. Common traps to look for:
- Maximum withdrawal per period. An operator may cap weekly or monthly withdrawals at a number that is lower than your balance, forcing a long conversion.
- "Verification fees". Real operators absorb KYC costs. Operators charging users for verification are extracting another payment from the same wallet.
- KYC documents accepted only after winning. Document policy should be the same on day one and on the day of withdrawal.
- Wagering requirements on deposits (not bonuses). Wagering requirements should attach to a claimed bonus, not to ordinary deposits.
- Country restrictions buried in T&C. Operators sometimes accept registrations from countries they later refuse to pay. Check before depositing.
If something feels wrong
Stop before adding more money. Save screenshots of the chat / page / terms. Contact the operator through its official support channel (not a link sent in chat). If support stalls, contact the regulator the operator is licensed under and submit a complaint via the regulator's official complaints route. Avoid anyone offering "recovery", "predictions", or "VIP" services in exchange for a fee — those are the predictor and recovery scams covered separately.
Hard limits in practice
Set limits in three layers, because each catches different failure modes:
- Money limit per session. Decide before opening the game; ideally enforce via the operator's deposit limit feature rather than self-discipline.
- Time limit per session. Long sessions degrade decision quality more than money limits acknowledge. 30–45 minutes is a reasonable ceiling.
- Frequency limit per week. Two sessions per week is more recoverable than daily. Daily-play patterns are a leading indicator of escalation.
